Kenny
Founder & Director
As the owner of Maple Leaf Eikaiwa (Language School), Kenny has been creating his own educational material since 1999. He writes and sings nearly every song as well as animating and editing most of the videos on our YouTube channel. A true creative goofball, he’s the voice behind many of the Maple Leaf puppets including Marty Moose.
Hiroko
Composer & Song Writer
Hiroko is the magic behind most of the song arrangements. She has an amazing ability to create music that instantly grabs a child’s attention. Besides being a musician, mother, and English instructor, she also teaches the fundamentals of rhythm and dance to young children.

Anthony
Product Manager
Anthony’s job is to harness the creative chaos of the Maple Leaf Learning crew and deliver you polished educational products for the home and classroom. With over 10 years’ teaching experience in China, Taiwan, Japan and New Zealand, he helps create, develop and test products before they’re released to the public.
Terumi
Customer Service & Sales
Terumi is the glue that holds together our language school and Maple Leaf Learning. She’s extremely talented at juggling multiple projects and getting products out the door. If you have a question or need help with something, she’s got your back. She’s had several cameos in Maple Leaf Learning videos including I Am Thirsty and Open, Close.
Kyle
Digital Producer & App Developer
Kyle brings his multi-talented creative and technical expertise to Maple Leaf Learning’s audio and video productions. Check out his work in our Wicked Wendy and Head and Shoulders music videos on YouTube. He developed our Whose Eyes, Whose Tail and Whose Feet apps for the App Store and Google Play. He’s also a musician and avid language learner with experience teaching in China and Japan.
Mami
Illustrator
Mami brings our ideas to life illustrating flashcards, games, activities and worksheets for our Resource Library. She also creates many of the wonderful backgrounds for our music videos on YouTube. Singer & Actress
Tayla is the star of the popular YouTube channel Tea Time with Tayla. Her educational show includes nursery rhymes, sing-a-longs, ABCs, colors, shapes, and more. You can hear her bubbly voice on Spooky Spooky Halloween Songs for Kids. She also stars in the Let’s Count Halloween Song on YouTube.
