Hungry Frog Craft
This resource accompanies the I’m Hungry song from Sing and Play Purple.
Directions: Color the frog, tongue and butterflies. Cut all the items out. Fold the frog in half and cut a slit on the bold line to make the frog’s mouth. Fold a piece of construction paper in half and glue on the frog. Don’t use glue on the middle and bottom of the frog as you’ll be sliding the tongue up and through from the bottom.
Fold the mouth down the middle such that it opens and closes when you open and close the construction paper. Glue on the butterflies or any other items you like. Once you’ve finished decorating the construction paper, flip the tongue upside down and slide up between the frog and construction paper. Fold back the tongue and make it sticks out of the frog’s mouth.
