"Who ARRR You?" Game

who-arrr-you-game

This game accompanies Spooky Spooky Halloween Songs for Kids.

Prepare the game: Print out one set of the big cards, glue on the backing paper, cut them down to size if necessary, and laminate them for extra strength. Print out the small cards, glue on the backing paper, cut them down to size, and laminate them for extra strength.

Play the game: Lay out the big cards face-up on the table or floor. Pass out one small card to each player, which should be kept secret. Clockwise, in turn, have each player turn to the player to his or her left, and describe their secret pirate with three hints, using sentences such as, "He has a ______ beard," "He has a wooden/only one leg, "He has a hook/only one hand," &c. The listening player then guesses which pirate was described by pointing to one of the big cards. If the guess is correct, both players get a point, or a sticker, or Halloween candy, or whatever is appropriate for your class!

Note: This download includes two sets of the big pirate cards, including a jumbo set.
