A fun, flexible game that can be used for almost any lesson.

Prepare the Game: Cut out and laminate the mountain climber pieces. Attach and laminate the two mountain board pages to create one large playing board.

Play the Game: Split your children into two teams. Test the teams on their vocabulary, grammar, or anything else that is appropriate for your lesson.

If a team gets answers correctly, advance their piece by an appropriate amount. You may also choose to have their piece “fall” a certain number of spaces if the team answers incorrectly. You can ask questions to teams individually, or award progress to whichever teams answers a question first.

The game ends when one team reaches the top of the mountain. Use sound effects and some showmanship to keep the game fast and fun!
